As the Sourcing Excellence Lead – UK, you will play a pivotal role in driving Sourcing Excellence initiatives and projects within the UK, as part of the Global Sourcing Excellence Organization. You will be responsible for maintaining a best-in-class sourcing practice by applying advanced sourcing processes, techniques, tools, and practices. Employment start date: 01.01.2025Main tasks:1.Leading Regional Sourcing Excellence Initiatives:Analyze existing sourcing processes with a focus on supply chain and procurement inefficiencies, identifying opportunities for improvement.Design and implement optimized sourcing processes that align with global standards and regional supply chain needs.2.Global Reporting and Performance Management:Understand the leading industry approach to sourcing performance management and reporting and streamline implementation.Develop and maintain a set of reports on sourcing performance across all clientsEnsure that these are understood and used globally by all relevant members of the sourcing communityChampion to the use of our standard methods on all clients, and ensure that any agreed deviations or nuances are reflected in reporting and understood by all stakeholdersWork with Global Sourcing Leads to ensure that tool use by sourcers feeds global reports correctly.3.Process Improvement and Automation:Utilize prompt engineering skills to enhance the automation and efficiency of sourcing and procurement processes.Ensure that new processes deliver measurable benefits, such as cost reductions, improved efficiency, and enhanced sourcing outcomes.4.Collaboration and Change Management:Collaborate with Regional Management teams, including Supply Chain and Procurement Leads, to address deficiencies in sourcing practices.Facilitate cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of new sourcing processes, tools, and techniques.Develop and execute change management strategies to support the successful implementation of new processes.5.Performance Monitoring and Reporting:Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of sourcing and procurement processes.Regularly report on process performance to Global Sourcing Excellence leadership.6.Training and Development:Provide training and support to sourcing and procurement teams on new processes, tools, and prompt engineering techniques.Conduct onboarding sessions for new sourcers and procurement specialists, ensuring they are familiar with the company’s sourcing methodologies and tools.7.Risk Management and Compliance:Identify and mitigate risks associated with sourcing activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and client standards.Ensure that sourcing and procurement teams adhere to the company’s internal controls and standards.8.Global Sourcing Excellence Initiatives:Co-design and lead the implementation of global Sourcing Excellence initiatives, with a strong emphasis on procurement best practices.Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the CEO EMEA, Client Account Managers, and Global Leads, to drive sourcing and procurement excellence initiatives.What we expect:1.Proven Experience and Expertise:Experience in Project Management with a strong Focus on Processes and Tools.
