Job summaryAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly Practice Team.We are currently seeking to employ 1-2, full or part-time candidates. The suitable candidate will be required to cover one early morning 7:30am and one late night 6pm per week.Main duties of the jobTo be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception dutiesand the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include, but are not limited to,greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system,booking appointments, the processing of information and assisting patients asrequired.To act as the central point of contact for patients, thedistribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team,liaising with multi-disciplinary team members and external agencies such assecondary care and community service providers. We also work collaborativelywith our Neighbouring Practices, Community & Voluntary Sector Colleagues,to support and deliver services to our patients in the community.We are a GMSPractice.
