The site can produce up to 142,000 litres of drink per hour consisting of BIB, PET and Glass bottling.  They are the only site in GB to produce our Oasis Drinks. There are over 300 people across Manufacturing, QESH and Engineering. Experience gained here can lead to excellent career opportunities both in Edmonton and further afield across other GB sites and Pan-European locations.    Key Responsibilities: Syrup Batch Preparation: Prepare syrup batches by following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production recipes. Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate syrup preparation equipment, including mixing tanks and conduct regular inspections of the equipment to ensure that it is functioning properly and report any mechanical issues. Quality Control: Perform regular sampling and testing of syrup batches to ensure they meet quality standards. Record and report any discrepancies in batch quality or deviations from the recipe to the Team Leader. CIP and Line Operations: Oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of Cleaning in Place (CIP) systems across multiple production lines and execute and monitor the rinsing and cleaning of transfer hoses, product containers, and related equipment. Sample Collection & Testing: Manage the logging, sampling, and testing of products and water in systems such as Lancelan and ensure compliance with quality control protocols by overseeing water treatment testing and sample analysis. Chemical and Ingredient Handling: Handle the receipt, storage, and delivery of bulk ingredients including granulated sugar, liquid sugar, and chemicals for water treatment and to manage safe delivery and storage of chemicals, including Dusmo caustic, hypo IBC replacement, and sugar dissolving solutions. Operational Equipment Training: Training on equipment operations such as Baler Operation, Sump Pump, Tetra Pak Almix, and Almix systems and oversee the safe and efficient use of tanks and delivery systems, including corrective maintenance such as carbon filter draining before steaming. Water Treatment and Testing: Manage raw and treated water testing, ensuring adherence to operational standards. General Process Control: Maintain process store temperature checks and ensure compliance with storage protocols and oversee syrup batch make-up. Documentation and Reporting: Ensure thorough documentation of procedures, including stock counts, deliveries, batch make-up, and guard checks. Forklift Operation: Willing to learn to drive FLT and PPT. Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations to prevent accidents or injuries. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and always follow safety protocols. Other Duties: Assist with general housekeeping duties in the area ensuring cleanliness and organisation.   Qualifications and Skills: Experience in food or beverage production, preferably with syrup or liquid mixing processes and Strong understanding of chemical processes. Experience in production operations, water treatment, or chemical handling. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and work efficiently under pressure. Good communication and teamwork skills.
