CNC Machinist

Our engineering client is currently seeking an experienced CNC machinist ideally with Hurco experience. Job Specification Programming, setting and operating CNC Hurco milling and lathe machines to perform precision machining operations Working from engineering drawings, and specifications Machining various materials including Nylon, aluminium through carbon steels and exotics like super duplex Machining one offs and batch work Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure they meet customer requirementsPerson Specification: Time served machinist with Hurco experience is essential Experience of operating milling and lathe machines Ability to read engineering drawings Ale to work alone and part of a teamWorking permanent days, 38 hours per week
