Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician Industry: Manufacturing Department: Maintenance Location: Westward Heath, CoventryContract: Salaried, permanent.Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pmSalary: Up to £42,000 plus overtime Scope of Work:To effectively maintain production equipment in a a fast paced manufacturing facility, operating within the automotive industry supply chain. Key Result areas.Minimise Downtime.Maximise Machine capabilityMaintenance, repair & continuous improvement of production machinery, equipment & systems, including daily / weekly routine maintenance activities in combination with supporting continuous improvement activities.Participation in the identification and procurement of consumables & machine spares.Accompany, assist and monitor service engineers, contractors and vendors as requiredEnsure efficient shift handovers to ensure machines and plant are safe & maintained at optimum operational condition .Multi-skilled role Electrical/Mechanical within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.Follow Company H&S Policies.QualificationsTimed served apprenticeship or equivalent.PLC Fault FindingAbb RobotsSiemens SoftwareNVQ or Higher in Mechanical and electrical engineering.Desirable, 18th Edition Electrical Installation.Personal Competencies Effective team playerCommunicational skillsThe ability to work independentlyTo work under pressure and to strict deadlinesReading and Understanding Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Technical DrawingsClosing date 18.08.2024Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are operating as an employment agency on behalf of its client.To Apply please follow the application process for the site this job is advertised on or email your CV to [email protected].
