Are you an experienced Operations Manager in the caf or hospitality sector looking to step out of the corporate world and make a real difference in your community? Do you want to lead the expansion of a not-for-profit caf with a mission to combat loneliness and social isolation?
Responsibilities:
In this hands-on and strategic role, you will:
- Oversee the caf 's day-to-day operations, including Health & Safety and Environmental Health compliance.
- Drive business strategy, marketing, and recruitment efforts.
- Manage a team of volunteers (currently 50, expected to grow to 100 by the end of the year).
- Engage with the local community and support fundraising initiatives.
- Lead the caf 's expansion, with plans to open new locations in the future.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for giving back and working in a community-focused environment.
- Has experience in the caf or hospitality sector.
- Is skilled at managing both strategic and operational responsibilities.
- Is excited to contribute to a cause that supports social good.
Remuneration:
Circa 40,000- 50,000 DOE
