Based in Belfast with a hybrid working model, this role is perfect for an experienced SQL Database Administrator with a strong background in infrastructure management. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain SQL databases, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. Oversee database infrastructure, including backups, disaster recovery, and system monitoring. Perform database tuning, upgrades, and patch management to ensure system reliability. Support infrastructure projects and collaborate with IT teams to implement solutions. Troubleshoot database issues and provide technical support for users. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a SQL DBA, with a focus on infrastructure management. Strong skills in database performance tuning, backups, and recovery strategies. Experience in managing SQL Server environments. Knowledge of disaster recovery, high availability, and server management. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
