We love what we do here and are looking to recruit Support Worker for our Stanmore Residential services based in Lanark. The role - Support Worker Stanmore House Residential acts as both a boarding element to Stanmore House School and a residential and respite service for the children of Scotland. The young people we support are aged between 5 & 20 with a variety of complex disabilities. You would support them to live independently in our bright, fully adapted, residential & school campus based in the outskirts of Lanark. Our 4 bungalows can host up to 16 young people in total. You will be supporting our customers on either one-to-one or group care; your day will include helping them with their personal care, dressing, medication, mobility, mealtimes, attending school & appointments and participating in their chosen recreational activities for that day. Working a mix of dayshift (7.30am-3pm), backshifts (2.30pm-10pm) and nightshifts (9.45pm-8.45am). Location: Stanmore House Residential, Stanmore Road, Lanark, ML11 7RR Job Description: Support Worker (Children) Don't let concerns over experience or availability hold you back. Drivers preferred but not essential , whilst we welcome applications from drivers due to the rural location of our services, we can consider non drivers. If you do need to go out and about with our customer for that dinner and cinema trip, your costs are covered. Capability Scotland's benefits: A generous salary of £22,008.00 FTE / £12.06 ph (or £12.35 per hour, dependent on qualifications) We recognise and reward qualified employees offering £12.35 per hour for those qualified at SVQ3 or above.
