Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector / Near Hazlemere / £15 - 26 ph / Days or Shift Available Do you have experience with hands on inspection? You could be progressing your career at a well reputed mid-sized family run company. You will be based in a busy inspection department, you will be tasked with inspecting a variety of bespoke components using precision measurement tools. As well as being involved with other engineering related tasks when required. This opportunity will suit you if you enjoy having flexibility at work and have a can-do attitude. The work environment is very relaxed, no micromanaging involved. There is also flexibility with hours as the company is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will have your own keys/fobs so you can come and go to do overtime as you please. *Must have full right to work in the UK to apply* Location: Based near Hazlemere, Buckinghamshire Hours: 36 hours a week with the optional to choose between days or rotating shift Day shift: 8:30 – 4:30pm (flexibility on changing start/finish time to skip traffic etc) Rotating shift: Shift uplift of 1.33x rate. 6am – 2pm for 2 weeks, followed by 2 – 10pm for 2 weeks and so on Overtime: 1.5x rate, regularly available due to 24/7 operation Quality Inspector Duties/Requirements: * Proficient with a variety of precision measurement tools * Experience with gauges, micrometres, shadow graphs will be an advantage * CMM operating/programming is desirable but not essential * Open to carrying out other engineering related tasks when required * Reading and following technical drawings * Experienced working in fast paced environments * A can-do attitude – training can be provided for the right person Salary: £15 - 20ph on days. £20 - 26 ph on rotating shift (doe) Benefits Include: * 1.5X overtime pay * No micromanaging * Pension scheme * Christmas shutdown * Onsite parking Apply now to find out more about this Quality Inspector opportunity.
