Our client is a well-known name in engineering, working to create a safe and secure world. They are seeking a senior engineer to manage the delivery of engineering and technical matters for the life of a project.
You will possess high level of engineering knowledge, problem solving skills and the ability to produce reports on technical issues, together with accompanying presentations. The role operates within a mixed marketplace including large civil schemes, which ensures a very diverse day to day workload.
Brief description this role:
- Be fully aware and comply with all H&S standards
- Assist in customer liaison to ensure satisfaction
- Ensure engineering and technical matters comply with relevant codes and standards
- Produce and review calculations, analyses, drawings, models, design documentation and technical reports
- Assess implications of change and queries
- Evaluate technical issues to develop solutions
- Act as engineering lead and technical authority when required
- Support business development opportunities
Required:
- Degree in engineering with extensive experience
- Chartered or working towards
- Experience working in multi-discipline team, successfully delivering projects
- Proficient in analysis software
- Excellent project running & communication skills
- Experience of heavy civils/reinforced concrete structures
- BPSS clearance required
