Cyber Security Engineer

We are currently looking for a Cyber Security Engineer for our client, a manufacturer producing both single and double deck battery and fuel cell electric buses. The successful candidate will work alongside the various design teams to ensure that “secure by design” processes are adopted leading to the launch of Cyber secure vehicles across our customer base.   The Cyber Security Engineer will: Drive the development of best practice procedures associated with secure vehicle development. Create and maintain formal documents such as the vehicle TARA and the penetration/software update testing requirements. Support the Cyber Security Manager to maintain the CSMS (Cyber Security Management System). Keep status trackers up to date, showing status of all responsible projects. Escalate any major vehicle security risks to the Risk Committee Board for review and action.     The Cyber Security Engineer will have: BEng Degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Minimum of 2 years electrical/electronic design experience. Knowledge and experience of working to ISO 21434 requirements for vehicle development. Experience of preparing penetration and software update test plan. Previous experience in a cyber security development role working in accordance with a relevant international standard. Excellent communication skills.
