Salary and other compensation: Minimum £40,000 + Commission (Dependent on experience)


Hours 40 hours per week

The Role

The National Sales Manager will effectively manage direct accounts across the UK. This position will be responsible for managing a team of account managers in line with the business sales strategy to ensure KPIs are met. In this position you will act as a brand ambassador for the brewery and maintain high value, long term relationships with direct sales customers. This role is responsible for ensuring the brewery’s sales goals are met through effective management of the direct sales team, in agreement with the Head of Sales.

Ideally this role will be based in Cheltenham at the brewery.


Responsibilities

? Implement and drive the Direct sales strategy to attain the overall business sales targets directed by the HOS.

? Effectively manage a high-performing direct sales team, encouraging growth and collaboration across all

teams and sales channels.

? Ensure all sales processes and principles are adhered to.

? Cultivate and manage relationships with customers across the UK.

? Manage CRM system alongside Sales Managers and HOS.

? Manage supply agreements and pricing negotiations in agreement with HOS.

? Report monthly on Account Managers performance on KPI’s in line with the business sales strategy.

? Provide weekly feedback on direct sales performance, overall sales strategy and market position.

? Ensure all HR duties are carried out effectively for the direct sales team, in line with company policies.

? Maintain high levels of motivation and engagement within the direct sales team.

Essential selection criteria

? Significant experience of working in a Sales Department.

? Strategic planning and analysis skills.

? Proactive lead generation and prospecting skills.

? Ability to develop and implement sales strategies.

? Customer relationship management.

? Highly organized and demonstrates leadership and motivational skills.

Desirable selection criteria

? Experience working with Brewery inventory software.

? Experience in managing a CRM software.

? Previous experience within the brewing industry.

The department of sales is responsible for the output of DEYA beer sold across the United Kingdom and abroad.

The team currently consists of 7 members of staff.
