Building Surveyor

Building Surveyor job available, for a reputable multidisciplinary consultancy based in Belgravia, London. Working on a mix of refurbishment and remedial projects, predominately high-rise residential projects in London. The role can be based out of their Kent or London offices, offering a salary of up to £65,000 + Bonus + Travel + Excellent progression opportunities. You will be joining a growing consultancy with a strong pipeline of work in the public sector.They offer a range of services to include project management, fire safety, surveying, cost consultancy, and design management, and specialise in residential, healthcare and education sectors for developers, housing associations and local authorities. Made up of 100 employees and 4 offices, they have a strong reputation in delivering new build, refurbishment and remedial projects across London and the South East. This role will be working across residential high-rise remedial works and building safety case works liaising with developers, building managers, free holders and local authorities.Role & ResponsibilitiesAssisting with the delivery of the building safety case works including completing building safety case reportsWorking for a small team, reporting directly to the Team Leader/ Delivery DirectorReport writing and assisting in contract administration for high rise remediation worksSupport the preparation of key building informationSupport the resident liaison process required to complete the worksMinute taking in both internal and external meetings and understanding the context of discussion pointsLiaise with project teams across all stages of a projectAssist with the tender process and procurement of key consultants and contractors.Required Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Building Surveyor / Project ManagerRICS Accredited Degree or similarRICS APC pathway, MCIOB, or similarKnowledge of UK Building Regulations and Fire Safety LegislationExperienced in supporting with Building Safety Case reports and subsequent worksExperience with residential high-rise remedial worksExperienced in diagnostic, building pathology and report writingConsultancy background is preferredUK Driving Licence and own car.What you get backSalary of up to £65,000 + Bonus + Travel24 Days holiday + Bank HolidaysContributory PensionPrivate medical insuranceSupport with professional subscriptions.ApplyIf you meet the criteria above, send us your CV and portfolio.
