Alongside this, you will also have the opportunity to take responsibility for project management, budgeting, producing bill of quantities, and costings. • Provide assurance that scheme designs comply with specification and agreed programme• Work to ensure designs comply with health and safety regulations and CDM requirements• Alongside colleagues, ensure designs are assessed for environmental impacts• Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders and third parties• Coordinate with other team members associated with the design• Support junior team members working on projectsAbout youWe are looking for an Engineer with consulting experience around the design and management of the Section 278/38 process, as well as:• Sound knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges and Manual for Streets• Ability to engage and conduct effective negotiations with client, stakeholders, subcontractors and third parties• Detailed understanding of Health & Safety legislation• Competent in use of Civils 3DDiversity, Equity, and InclusionWe are committed to being an equal opportunities employer, and our expectations go beyond purely complying with legislation.
