Operational Excellence Lead

Our client, a leading global food manufacturer is urgently looking for a operational excellence lead to proactively deliver world class manufacturing operations to the site, ensuring that it is aligned to achieve profitable growth and has a standardised approach to Continuous Improvement.Key responsibilitiesWork alongside the Excellence Central Team to support the establishment of a continuous Improvement culture by reducing non-value adding activities across the site and wider business.Work closely with the Team Manager's to ensure the ongoing sustainability of Lean tools on site ensuring that skills levels are maintained, and benefits realised.Support the communication around Lean processes and results across the site.Support the site's Lean roll out and ensure that it is consistent with the overall Excellence approachCandidate requirements:A qualification in Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma, Industrial Engineering or equivalent will be preferred.At least 2 to 3 years Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence or Lean implementation experience within a manufacturing environment.Strong communication skills and a demonstrated effective team playerOn OfferSalary will be circa £44K to £47K + 10% Bonus Pension + Private Healthcare25 leave days + 8 bank holidaysThe role will be based onsite in the Greater Manchester area
