Property Lawyer

Our client, a Local Authority based in the South West , is currently recruiting for a locum Property Lawyer, initially until the end of March 2025. The position is due to start immediately and the hourly rate is circa £55 - £60 per hour Umbrella, but is negotiable based on PQE. Duties Will Include (but Are Not Limited To) Providing high level legal and property-related advice to Members and senior officers Acting for the Council in the progression of complex property matters relating to the Council’s land holdings Handling matters such as disposals and acquisitions, the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, the devolution of Council property assets, disposals at an undervalue, overage provisions and options Experience Required Commercial Property Law Relevant Professional Qualification – Solicitor, Barrister, FCILEX Working Hours 30 hours per week Monday – Friday Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
