Construction Manager

Job Purpose

Responsible for the successful delivery of an exceptional private residence in Hertfordshire.

Principle duties and accountabilities

• Manage all aspects of the construction site to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, monitoring progress and implementing corrective action if required.
• Prioritise safety on-site, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations promoting a safety-first culture within the team.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality throughout the project inspecting work at key stages to identify any defects and implement corrective measures
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare site reports and progress reports as directed.
• Ensure documentation, plans and programmes are maintained and readily available on document management system.

Essential key skills and experience:

• Demonstratable experience of delivering similar types of residences.
• SMSTS and First Aid at Work Certifications.
