Pattern Maker Coventry £15.99 – £18.00 per hour Working hours 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday 1:00pm on Friday (37 hours per week). Start date ASAP Role Purpose Manufacturing of patterns, moulds and composite components whilst supporting the CNC department to achieve daily targets for customers to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities Day to day operation of Panel Saw and Disc Sander Creating block-ups to engineer drawings. Inspection of parts to engineer drawings. Hand finishing of patterns to P600. Repairing and shuttering of patterns. Support and achieve delivery targets of our customers while ensuring quality is not compromised. Support the continuing 5S and LEAN Manufacturing activities. Essential Skills Good Team worker Basic Knowledge in Manufacturing Patterns, moulds, Composite components within an automotive, Aerospace or motorsport environment. Logical reasoning with a “can-do attitude” Good organisational skills. Ability to work under pressure, and on multiple concurrent projects. Interpret basic engineer drawings. Follow S.O. P’s. To work with minimal supervision. Desired Skills/Experience At least two years’ experience Hand finishing components/Patterns. Able to use basic measuring equipment
