Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (ARP Experience Essential) Location: Dagenham Salary: £95-105 per day Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our specialist team in our Additional Resource Provision (ARP). The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), speech and language difficulties, and other learning challenges. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students within the ARP, ensuring their individual learning and emotional needs are met. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and external specialists to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Facilitate inclusion by helping ARP students integrate into mainstream classes where appropriate. Assist with creating a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment. Support students in developing their communication, social, and independence skills. Monitor and report on student progress, contributing to reviews and meetings.Essential Requirements: Previous experience working within an Additional Resource Provision (ARP) setting is essential. Proven track record of supporting children with SEN, particularly those with ASD and speech and language difficulties. Strong understanding of SEN best practices, with the ability to adapt approaches to meet diverse student needs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Patience, empathy, and a commitment to helping every child succeed.Why Join Us?
