Our established client based on the outskirts of Cardiff is looking to recruit for an additional Estimator into there busy team.
Job spec:
Reviewing of architectural specifications and drawings.
Build up detailed quotations, proposals, and cost breakdowns.
Liaise with main contractors and supply chain partners with regards to specifications.
Ability to suggest specification changes when needed.
Assessing the risk levels associated with a project.
Assisting with bids for new contracts and supporting the activities of buyers
Monitoring the costs at the various stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated costs.
Person Spec:
Estimating experience within the Construction Industry, preferably with strong knowledge of windows and doors including Aluminium and glazing.
Familiar with using in house estimating systems.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good numerical skills.
Computer literate and ideally with knowledge of the pricing software.
Car driver ideally
Ability to work in a team with a good sense of humour.

Hours 8.30-5.00 Mon- Thursday Friday finish at 13.00
