Job Title: Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA Certified) – SC Cleared Location: London Overview: We are seeking an experienced Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA Certified) with a proven track record of delivering Pega solutions. Current SC Clearance is mandatory, and experience in the public sector or defence is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: * Architect & Design Solutions: Lead the architecture and design of business applications using Pega Intelligent Automation and relevant Pega frameworks. * Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to project teams on best practices for solution design and architecture using Pega. * Project Ownership: Take charge of Pega technology proposals and ensure they align with both technical and business objectives. Lead solution sizing and estimation for projects. * Agile Methodologies: Translate complex business needs into functional and technical requirements, utilising Agile/Scrum methodologies and Pega Blueprint. * End-to-End Delivery: Scope, plan, and deliver projects through iterative development cycles across multiple releases, ensuring quality and business alignment. * Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with business users, development, and QA teams to transfer knowledge and ensure the system delivers the required functionality. Technical Skills: * Pega Expertise: 8+ years of experience with Pega PRPC, including at least 1 year implementing Pega 8.7 and Pega Constellation. * Certification: Certified Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA). * Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with Pega FS&I and Pega CRM products. * Programming & Database: Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, RDBMS concepts, Core Java, JSP/Servlets, UML, and database concepts (e.g., normalisation, queries, joins, indexing). * Web & Integration: Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, as well as SOAP/RESTful web services and tools like SOAP UI. * Use Case Creation: Ability to prepare detailed functional use cases and requirement documentation. Business & Soft Skills: * Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to analyse complex business processes and challenge assumptions when necessary. * Stakeholder Engagement: Lead and facilitate DCO workshops, ‘Show & Tell’ sessions, and collaborate effectively with business users to refine system features. * Clear Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for translating business requirements into technical specifications and coordinating across teams. Additional Requirements: * SC Clearance: Current SC Clearance is mandatory for this role. * Sector Experience: Experience in the public sector or defence industry is highly desirable.
