Credit Controller

Our client is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a dynamic finance team. You will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in a similar role is essential. To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials: Previous experience within a similar role essential Excellent attention to detail Verbal and written communication skills Both internal and external customer focus Problem-solving attitude Flexible and the ability to work within a team or on own Willingness to support the business with additional administration tasks as required Microsoft suite skills Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadline Within this position, you’ll also be: Dealing with all incoming and outgoing emails into the credit control department Producing ad hoc and monthly reports for management Negotiating payment dates with clients Setting up new client accounts on the system and credit-checking them Reconciling the bank transactions Client account queries Receipting allocations into the system Chasing and obtaining outstanding debts Creating, developing and maintaining client relations Salary & Working Hours Salary is £25,000 - £26,000 per annum Depending on experience Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm   Talk Staff Recruitment is an established division of Talk Staff Group and works with companies throughout the East Midlands and UK with roles including many areas such as: Accountancy & Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Contact Centre and Office Support.
