Job Title: Python Full-Stack Developer
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000
Location: Birmingham, UK (1-2 days a week in office)

Company Overview:
My client is a leading organisation in the financial sector, focused on delivering innovative solutions. They are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python application development, with experience in microservices architecture and API integrations. Experience in the financial sector is preferred but not essential.
Position Summary:
You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable applications using Python, with a focus on backend development and some exposure to frontend technologies like React.js. The role requires experience in developing REST APIs, integrating 3rd-party APIs, and working within a microservices environment. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Python Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Python.
- API Development: Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with 3rd-party APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.
- Microservices: Work within a microservices architecture to develop modular, reusable components.
- Frontend Collaboration: Collaborate with frontend developers, utilising React.js, to ensure seamless integration between backend and frontend systems.
- Testing & Debugging: Write unit and integration tests, troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure reliability and performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, DevOps, and other developers to deliver well-architected solutions.
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Python application development (3+ years).
- Experience in developing REST APIs and integrating 3rd-party services.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Strong frontend experience, particularly with React.js.
- Experience in the financial services sector is preferred but not essential.
