IT Risk Manager | London Market Broker | London/Hybrid | £85 100,000 (doe)Finitas are delighted to be partnering with a growing London market broker in their search for a IT Risk Manager. This is a newly created position and will be sitting in the 2nd line risk management function reporting into the Risk Director.This is a critical role where you will be collaborating closely with various stakeholders to assess, monitor, and mitigate IT-related risk. Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Conducting risk assessments of IT systems.Collaborating with IT teams to assess controls and safeguards.Developing and implementing frameworks for ongoing monitoring of IT risk indicators and key risk metrics.Serve as a subject matter expert on IT risk management.Attend relevant IT focused Committees and forums.Work closely with compliance, legal and data protection teams to ensure adherence to regulatory obligations.Prepare regular reports and updates on IT risk exposures, trends, and mitigation efforts for senior management and relevant committees.Experience required:Minimum 5 years' experience IT risk management.Strong knowledge of 2nd line risk management.Must be from a financial services background preferably insurance.Qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field.Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, as well as common IT risk frameworks (e.G., NIST, ISO 27001).Excellent analytical skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Please note that you will be required to work in their London office twice a week.This is a brilliant opportunity where you will be given autonomy, work with key stakeholders and really have the chance to make the role your own.
