Injection Moulding Technician

Due to continued growth, a global organisation supplying blue chip companies within the FMCG industry is actively seeking an Injection Moulding Technician to join their business. In their cutting-edge automated facility, you will play a crucial role in maintaining seamless production by expertly setting machines and swiftly addressing any production challenges. As Injection Moulding Technician your duties will include: Carrying out tool changes, colour changes and condition setting. Trouble shooting moulding issues. Basic machine maintenance. Conducting quality checks.To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Setter, the ideal candidate will: Have worked in a plastic injection moulding environment as a Setter or Technician. Know how to set moulding machines, with some experience of setting from scratch. Be familiar with different types of moulding faults and issues, their causes and how to rectify the problem. Have experience of tool changing and carrying out basic machine maintenance. On offer: A salary of up to £35,400, life assurance, pension scheme, free on-site parking, and additional training.
