Great opportunity to join Barchester's IT team as an Optima Support Analyst on a 12 month fixed term contract. As an IT Applications Support Analyst, you will provide desk-based support and system administration for Barchester's applications. Main focus will be supporting Allocate Optima rostering solution full-time across all of Barchester's care homes and hospitals.
As other solutions come into Barchester, scope will increase on supporting other digital products and solutions. Remote working role, all equipment will be provided. This is a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of the system, and that users across the business are trained and confident in its application.
NEED TO HAVE Good experience and knowledge around using and working with Optima
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be a team player as well as being able to work on own initiative and under pressure
NEED TO DO Provide desk-based support and advice while escalating problems to relevant areas or suppliers
Maintain and update the IT Service Management Software to manage, record and analyse all IT support
Maintain appropriate system configuration by undertaking system administration tasks and adhering to
relevant business guidance
Supporting and communicating with users of varying abilities, helping them to become proficient and capable
