But don't worry you'll be working for the market leader in design and build in the food industry. Your clients will be well known names that you probably visit to buy your lunch from or order your healthy evening meals.
Their parent company has a turnover of over £400m meaning there are lots of career opportunities across the group as you develop.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Mechanical design on a range of factories, warehouses, distribution centres and associated buildings
- Work with the 7 other mechanical, electrical and refrigeration design engineers. You'll also with wider project teams including architects, project engineer and quantity surveyors.
- You'll design a full range of hvac services including some more specialist ones including steam and compressed air.
- You'll be involved in feasibility, concept design, testing and inspection
- You'll get to go to site, hold client briefs and design team meetings
Here's what you'll need to have:
- Around 5 years building services design experience
- You will need to be able to work independently and be pro-active in communicating
- A home office suitable for working for 3/4 days a week
- A car to travel to site/Head office
