Position: Teaching Assistant Location: Secondary Schools in Croydon Contract Type: Full-time Opportunities Available Salary: £95 - 110 per day Role Overview: We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a mainstream secondary school in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to make a positive impact on students' learning and development, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Key Responsibilities: Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and supporting student learning. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, particularly those with SEN. Help create an inclusive classroom environment that fosters student participation. Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Support students' emotional and behavioural needs to encourage a positive attitude towards learning. Assist with classroom management and preparation of learning resources. Qualifications: Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding of SEN and strategies for supporting diverse learners. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) are advantageous.
