Cloud Engineer

Ingenii Search are currently hiring for a cloud solutions engineer. The primary role is to design and maintain public cloud blueprints, facilitating the creation of standardised, reusable patterns. This position involves evaluating emerging technologies and influencing the internal product roadmap to introduce new services across AWS and GCP. The role also includes providing expert consultation on security and connectivity best practices while supporting internal consultancy and technical design forums to ensure alignment with best practice standards. Duties: Advance the design, implement, and support cloud architecture blueprints, patterns, and templates. Advocate for the use of reusable code/modules and API capabilities to drive automation. Offer technical design expertise to guide the transition of on-premise services to public cloud environments. Lead the adoption and implementation of cloud connectivity and security best practices. Ensure that all architectural solutions incorporate high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and resiliency best practices. Experience: Comprehensive knowledge of AWS and GCP platform tools. Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts and security compliance requirements. Experience deploying infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) through DevOps tools such as the HashiCorp stack Terraform, Packer , Jenkins, and Docker. Knowledge of serverless technologies like AWS Lambda or Google Cloud Functions. Experience designing scalable cloud solutions leveraging the latest capabilities. Experience working in global enterprise organisation delivering large-scale programs.
