This role is with a Calyptus partner.Our partners work in the blockchain space so please only apply if this is an area of interest.------------------------------------------------------------------------ResponsibilitiesDiscover, evaluate and represent the needs of Blockchain developers, infrastructure providers, and other key stakeholders for our core productsYou will drive strategic development of our core blockchain client, our smart contracting language - Sway - and our SDKs, which developers use to interact with and build applications on top of our organization's Rollups. Together, these form the foundation of our organization's Rollup OS, unlocking performance, state minimization, and interoperability to the L2 Rollup world.Deeply understand the technologies and competitive landscape of blockchains, to be able to develop the right strategic bets both on core technology and end user applications.Establish, align the company around, and drive execution of the roadmap for major versions of our organization's Rollup OS core codeOwn the success of our organization's core productWork tightly with engineering, DevRel, growth, edge, and ecosystem teams to achieve the above objectivesDrive user and product oriented thinking throughout the organizationBuild organizational processes and muscle to achieve the above objectives in a sustainable wayRequired ExperienceMust have an engineering background 10 years, plus or minus, of experience across product and engineeringSuccess as a Director of Product or higher at a smaller organization; success as a Group Product Manager or higher at a larger organizationEmpathy and first hand experience of what developers need from highly available, mission critical applications, release cycles, etc.Successfully launched and managed products that serve developersHave successfully coached and mentored other product managers, or have overseen their work directlyAble to build immediate respect with engineersDemonstrated experience driving change within an organisation, all the way up to the C-Suite Management of both internal teams and vendorsSignificant experience with Web3 or Crypto a large plusBonus PointsA background in Philosophy------------------------------------------------------------------------Calyptus is an employment platform for engineers looking for work in Web3.Register at https://calyptus.co/register/ to apply for 40+ other roles.
