HGV Technician

An excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician / Mechanic to join a well-established company Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £41,000 - £43,000 Per Annum with Annual Bonus, Depending on Experience. Location: Northampton, NN5 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 Hour Shifts – Overtime Available About The Company: They are a privately owned garage specialising in the servicing and repair of commercial vehicles including vans, trucks and trailers. With many years of experience and the very best fully trained staff in the trade, their aims to keep client fleets on the road whilst offering competitive rates. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Mobile Technician to attend sites to maintain and repair HGV, LGV vehicles and trailers This will be attending site to carry out inspections and defects in fully equipped works van. Candidate Requirements: * NVQ or C&G Qualified as an HGV/LGV Mechanic * Previous experience within a similar role * Candidate will need to supply their own tools * Must be able to work as part of a team and also use their initiative * HGV Driving Licence preferable but not essential Split shifts – one week 7 .00 -15.30, second week 14.00 -22.00 Benefits include 22 days holiday plus bank holidays and a company pension scheme.
