Senior PowerBI Developer - Up to £95,000 + bonus and benefits - Hedge Fund

Just like with pretty much every sector over the past few years, data has become without doubt, the primary source of insight and understanding with what’s happening across different markets. It’s no different at this Hedge Fund. They’re migrating from Tableau and SSRS to PowerBI and require someone with strong PowerBI experience to build this and implement the best practices.

You’ll be given full autonomy to use your own ideas to build dashboards for business users including Portfolio Managers and Traders. The manager will be there to guide you in terms of the company vision, but you’ll use your skills and experience to deliver it. You'll also work with him to support some of the architectural elements of PowerBI. Furthermore, you'll work with Snowflake and AWS technologies too.

In terms of your experience, you’ll need to have strong SQL and PowerBI experience. Python, Power Automate and deployment pipeline experience will be beneficial. From a business knowledge point of view, you must have a strong background in asset management. Understanding the types of data in the sector will be crucial for this.

There’s a strong package on offer with a base salary up to £95,000. Total compensation has the potential to go up to £125,000 too plus a range of benefits.
