Electricians Substation

Morson Talent have 2 urgent positions for Electricians based in Essex or Kent to carry out Electrical testing & Maintenance on Substations.  Preferably looking for 2 x Electricians to work together & share van. Benefits: Weekly payments to LTD of £230 per shift. We can also pay to Umbrella companies or PAYE. Van & fuel card provided by client for 2 man team  Immediate start - 18 to 24 months contract available  Essential Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience: Working on substations & DNO experienced  Proven experience in electrical power construction projects Previous transportation work environment experience Proven CDM Health, Safety and Environmental experience and knowledge City and Guilds 2380 IEE Wiring Regulations, 18th Edition. City and Guilds Certificates A, B & C in Electrical Installation Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and/or servicing & maintenance work. Experience in using MS applications, i.e. Word and Excel  Full clean driving licence Principal Accountabilities: Understand and work to all necessary documentation for construction phase, including programme, method statements, risk assessments, work instructions and procedures from project start to completion. Work from plans and technical drawings Identify and control on site, materials, plant and equipment, company owned or on hire. Provide accurate and regular progress updates to Site Supervisor/Engineer and Project Manager to ensure that effective operations on site are carried out Escalate and report issues to the Site Supervisor/Engineer or Project Manager as soon as such are apparent. Escalate and report to the Site Supervisor/Engineer or Project Manager any commercial issues to ensure that change, delays, disruption, completion, defects or other commercial aspects are recorded.
