Electronics Engineer- Test Development and LED Design Location: Oldham Salary: £40,000 Work Type: Fully onsite KO2's client is looking for an enthusiastic Electronics Engineer who is happy doing Electronics Technician who enjoys balancing electronics design with test equipment development. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with a passion for both the creative and practical aspects of electronics engineering. What You'll Do: Design and develop LED light engines for schools, healthcare facilities, hospitals, and industrial buildings. Support a production test environment, handling PCBs, testing, and repair work. Design and maintain test fixtures and test jigs to enhance production efficiency. Work in both electronics design and test rig development, adhering to industry standards. Engage in 50% electronics design and 50% hands-on assembly of test rigs and equipment.Key Responsibilities: Design LED light engine solutions and test equipment for a wide range of applications. Assist with the design and upkeep of production test systems for LEDs and sensors. Participate in assembling test rigs and ensuring smooth testing processes in the production environment. Collaborate closely with teams to troubleshoot and repair PCBs during production.Who We're Looking For: An Electronics Engineer who would enjoy Electronics Technician work as well as who enjoys being hands-on.
