Divisional ManagerAngove Partners is seeking a dynamic Divisional Manager to join our London team. This role is ideal for experienced recruiters, team leaders, or managing consultants who are looking to step into a leadership position within a consultative and high-performing company specialising in the Insurance and Financial Services markets.
What you will be doing?Lead by example by generating new business, securing roles, and contributing to overall revenue.Identify new business opportunities and strategically expand our client base within the Insurance and Financial Services markets, driving growth and market share.Build and manage a robust network of contacts, proactively developing and nurturing client relationships.Lead and motivate a team of recruitment professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Act as a role model and mentor for junior staff, demonstrating company values and work ethic while assisting in their development.Provide thought leadership to ensure understanding of the relationship between activity and results across the business.Manage a full-cycle recruitment process from initial contact to the successful placement of candidates, ensuring consistency and optimisation of revenue streams.Oversee complex processes including change management, expectations, and negotiations within the business environment.Support clients by attracting exceptional talent, providing professional advice, and maintaining long-lasting relationships with candidates and clients.Autonomously prioritise workload, balancing personal billing with team mentoring responsibilities.Effectively demonstrate company best practices and promote brand awareness across all activities.Achieve set targets and deadlines, contributing to both team and individual success.
Who are we looking for?Proven experience as a Team Leader or Managing Consultant in the recruitment industry, with a strong track record of achieving targets. Experience in Insurance, Financial Services, or a similar professional services sector is highly desirable. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, capable of building strong relationships with both candidates and clients.Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making.Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.A growth mindset with the ability to turn challenges into opportunities and to thrive in a fast-paced environment.A high achiever who is target-driven and goal-oriented.A team-oriented individual with a collaborative mindset who values the culture and every single member of the team.
