Salter Grange is looking for an experienced M&E Design Manager to join a landmark project in Stratford Area. Key Responsibilities As the M&E Design Manager, you will be crucial in successfully delivering this landmark project, ensuring that all mechanical and electrical aspects are designed to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include: Design Management: Lead the M&E design process, coordinating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the design meets client specifications and project requirements. Technical Oversight: Review and validate all M&E design documents, ensuring compliance with current regulations, industry standards, and project objectives. Project Coordination: Work closely with the construction team to integrate M&E systems seamlessly with the overall build, addressing any design challenges promptly. Client Liaison: Maintain strong communication with the client, providing updates on design progress and addressing any concerns or queries related to M&E systems. Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure that all M&E installations meet the specified design and performance criteria. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the M&E design and develop strategies to mitigate these risks effectively. Sustainability: Ensure that all M&E designs contribute to the sustainability goals of the project, including energy efficiency and low-carbon technologies. Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will have: A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field. Extensive experience in M&E design management, particularly in large-scale residential or mixed-use developments. A strong understanding of current building regulations, standards, and sustainability practices. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. A proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
