Job Title: Registered ManagerSector: Children's Residential HomeType: Established 5 Bed EBD Home with Full Staff Team Location: Romford, Greater LondonSalary: Up to £67,000paJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentRole Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a residential children’s home in Romford. The Registered Manager will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, promoting a positive culture, and providing strong leadership to the care team.Key Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of the residential children’s home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.Lead, inspire, and manage a dedicated team of staff, providing supervision, guidance, and support.Develop and implement individual care & behaviour plans and risk assessments for each child, ensuring their needs are met effectively.Maintain effective communication with children, families, external agencies, and professionals involved in their care.Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and safeguarding procedures.Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks efficiently.Promote a positive and inclusive environment that values diversity and respects the rights of children and young people.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery, implementing improvements as necessary.Requirements:Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a residential children’s home setting.Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification) or working towards.Sound knowledge of Ofsted legislation, regulations, and best practices in childcare.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and resolve complex issues effectively.A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.Benefits:Competitive salaryProfit SharesHybrid working & work life balanceBonus Scheme based on InspectionsClear Progression PlanCompany PensionFunded training and development opportunities .How to Apply: If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people and have the skills and experience we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
