Yorkshire Talent Partners are working exclusively with a well-established manufacturing business based in South Yorkshire. Due to an increase in business demands, they are recruiting an Operations Manager to join an existing Senior Leadership Team, to work across 2 sites, and to take the manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution divisions to the next level. These teams consist of a stable and long-standing workforce, but the position requires someone to bring in new ideas regarding process and improvement, and to take the business to the next stage of its growth plan.Reporting to the Managing Director, the Operations Manager position offers:Salary up to £50,00025 days holiday + bank holidaysCompany eventsA business that operates Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, no evenings or weekendsA chance to work as part of the Senior Leadership Team and to be an integral part of the next stage of company growthWorking in collaboration with the SLT you will be required to:Look at existing KPI’s and ascertain suitability going forward, creating new KPI’s to suit the business growth planEmbed yourself within the workforce to find out what works and what doesn’t for employeesBe involved in continuous improvementProduce weekly and monthly reports and report information to the SLT and DirectorsEnsure health and safety is always adhered to by employees, addressing areas of concernHave regular reviews with supervisors and staffLook at potential cost savings and report findings to the Directors proposing potential changesWork with HR to retain and recruit employeesWork across both sites to suit business needsThe Operations Manager position is an excellent opportunity for someone with current/previous operational experience, who has managed a workforce, preferably within manufacturing or distribution, to showcase their skillset and be able to work collaboratively with the SLT and Directors.
