Overview
Working with a major automotive OEM, Expleo now needs to expand its activities within the Body In White (BIW) sector.
Expleo are looking for the right candidate with Geometrical Dimension and Tolerance (GD&T) experience to head up its new department and lead a team of GD&T Engineers in the development of an exciting new product.
Responsibilities
As the Program lead, you will be responsible for:
Leading the current and future team with the customers requirements
When required, support of the team with:
Gathering tolerance analysis, Gathering and evaluation of Historical Non-Conformance data
Assessment of compliance to the existing design standard and programme specifications
Understanding the fit form and function requirements
Experience with current manufacturing and assembly requirements.
Structural implications, rate considerations, production of documentation suitable to be processed through change process and all supporting functional areas.
As the Program lead for Expleo, you will be required to:
Attend stake holder reviews and creation of verification reports
Complete reports on progress and technical assessments that relate to the program.
Promote Expleo as the engineering solution within the customer
Support activities relating to your skills with other departments and customers for Expleo
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering or equivalent; or extensive relevant industry experience
Good theoretical knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing in relation to the automotive industry
Essential skills
Good written and oral communication skills
Logical problem solving skills and attention to detail
Microsoft office skills
Experience
GD&T experience
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
