Are you looking to kick-start your career in recruitment? Fairmead is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Recruitment Trainee to join our established team in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent school/college leavers or those with minimal experience looking to build a successful career in recruitment within the construction industry. About Us: Fairmead is a reputable recruitment agency specialising in both blue and white-collar roles within the construction sector. We have built strong relationships with clients and candidates alike and are known for our professional and honest approach. Due to our ongoing expansion, we are looking to bring on board a proactive individual who is eager to learn and grow with us. The Role: As a Recruitment Trainee, you will be supported and guided by a senior member of our recruitment team. You will develop your skills and industry knowledge, learning the ropes of recruitment from the ground up. This role is primarily sales-focused, requiring a significant amount of proactive telephone work and direct engagement with candidates. Key Responsibilities: * Building Relationships: Engage with potential candidates and applicants within the construction industry, building and nurturing professional relationships. * Candidate Sourcing: Use job boards and other resources to find and pre-screen potential candidates. * Communication: Answer incoming calls, take messages, and handle queries effectively. * Target Achievement: Work towards meeting individual and team targets. * Additional Duties: Support the team with any other tasks as required, contributing to the overall success of the business.
