About the role In this role you will undertake a wide range of analytical and assurance activities related to the Society's arrears portfolio, engaging within Credit Risk and with operational teams to highlight risks and provide assurance with respect to debt management policies and processes. You will analyse the key drivers of movements within the arrears portfolio to support operational activity and strategy delivery, producing and continuously improving the existing MI reporting suite while highlighting emerging trends and providing recommendations to mitigate risks and optimise opportunities. You will be able to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to explain complex principles to non-technical colleagues in order to understand and shape business processes. You'll also act as a role model within the team, providing support and guidance to Credit Risk analysts to enable their development What will you bring to the role? We're looking for someone who can demonstrate: A high level of resilience with an ability to work collaboratively across departments, sharing knowledge through working groups and through the production of written reports, articulating complex information to influence key stakeholders. Proven experience working in an analytical role, including the use of SAS/SQL or similar analytical tools with the ability to competently analyse complex sets of data and produce reports and recommendations for the senior management team and governance committees. Previous experience of financial services is desirable - experience of working in a Credit Risk role within secured lending and/or a Collections function would be highly advantageous Why choose Leeds Building Society?
