Maintenance Assistant

A position has arisen for a permanent Maintenance Assistant within an established organisation. This role supports general repairs and a wide variety of maintenance tasks situated in Oxford. The salary is £27,581 per annum.

Your duties will include:

• Respond to reactive and planned preventative maintenance issues and various helpdesk requests on site
• Support a wide variety of maintenance jobs such as, painting, plumbing, carpentry, redecoration, basic electrics, equipment repairs, furniture build and repair
• Assisting in a range of duties related to minor works and some larger projects
• Support wider team on checks and inspections (e.g. of fire or first aid equipment) as and when required
• Support any emergency situations on site

The successful candidate should have:

• You must have previous experience carrying out maintenance duties
• The ability to communicate positively and work in a small, busy team
