About the role: Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child’s life? We are looking for a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school in Colindale. This role is part-time and perfect for someone who enjoys working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with challenging behaviours. You'll be offering vital support to students in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping them navigate their academic and personal growth. Application Requirements: • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with challenging behaviours. • A nurturing, patient, and positive attitude. • Ability to work as part of a supportive team. • Strong communication skills. • Commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: • Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to SEN students. • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement personalised learning plans. • Support the emotional and social development of students. • Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment. • Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using positive behaviour strategies.
