CAE HPC Implementation & Maintenance Solution Lead - Automotive


This is a challenging role that straddles IT and Engineering disciplines. You will be working with a team of highly skilled professionals, where your role will be crucial in implementing CAE and HPC solutions. Your main focus will be on maintaining and supporting current CAE applications, as well as overseeing environment upgrades to ensure smooth operation.

You will ideally be an experienced Engineer by trade who has a great breadth of experience and understanding of HPC in IT and it’s appliance to CAE.


As the Solution Lead for CAE & HPC, your technical knowledge will be key in driving down costs and boosting productivity by working closely with stakeholders. You will work within the wider IT or engineering team, helping to achieve growth.


To be considered for this role, you will have extensive Automotive experience in a CAE and HPC environment (both Maintenance & Implementations). An overarching understanding of CAE and HPC solutions on both Windows and Linux systems. Broad experience supporting software applications and infrastructure. Experience of a queuing system and creation of job submissions script such as PBS, SGE.

Salary range is £50,000 to £70,000pa + benefits package
