The important bits… 💼 Job Title: Housing Officer 📅 Contract: 3-month Temporary Contract 📍 Location: Blaenau Gwent 💷 Pay: £16.29 per hour + holiday pay (£18.66 including holiday pay) 🗓 Application Deadline: Monday 28th October ⏰ Start Date: ASAP So, what will you do as a Housing Officer? Providing a top-notch service to tenants, ensuring their homes and tenancies are well managed. You'll be the key point of contact for tenants, supporting them with their housing needs and working closely with teams both inside and outside the organisation. Tackling issues like anti-social behaviour, tenancy sustainment, and safeguarding. Carrying out community inspections and liaising with contractors to keep the neighbourhoods in great shape. Representing the organisation at multi-agency meetings, and ensuring tenant support is always the priority. What you'll need to be considered… Previous experience in a housing management role in the social housing sector. A people person, with great communication and problem-solving skills. Someone who's confident working with tenants, contractors, and external partners. Comfortable managing multiple tasks and delivering excellent customer service.
