Multi skilled Engineer

We are looking for a Multi skilled Engineer to work on a Full Time, Permanent basis. Located in Bromsgrove, we are delighted to be supporting this long-standing business on an exclusive basis. As a Multi skilled Engineer you will be responsible for * Mechanical and electrical assembly of machines * Wiring to control panels, basic pneumatics, making hoses (training given) * General workshop duties, drilling, tapping, use of hand tools, grinding, drill press, lathe. * Disassemble, clean and refurbish old machines, pumps, valves, working with cleaning chemicals. * Commission and testing machines, fault finding, training customers, demoing machines. Skills Required * Background in workshop or service engineer. * Must be able to read mechanical and electrical drawings * Basic Microsoft Excel/Word Skills. We are either looking for a workshop-based Engineer where you will attend site a couple of days a month. Or if you are a Service Engineer and prefer being out on the road, this will be attending site more often maybe 2 / 3 days a week and then workshop based. Please note: Some overnight stops would be expected, but it isn't every month. Some European or World travel, but once or twice a year only. Working Hours 35 hours a week Open times Monday - Thursday 8:30 and 17:00 Friday 8:30 and 14:00 Flexible start and finish time based around the above times (Start as early as 7:30am if needed) Overtime is time and a half Double time on Sunday, but very rare, if ever. 1.5x on Sunday if just travelling/flying.
