IT Engineer - £36,000pa - Camberley, Surrey

A well established organisation based in Camberley are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join the team. This is a newly created role within the organisation and would also suit candidates who have previously worked as an IT Support Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Infrastructure Manager, Network Engineer or Network Manager. Please note, this role will be fully site based (no hybrid or remote working). As IT Engineer, reporting into the Head of IT, you will be optimising network performance and delivering IT support services to users across the organisation. You will also play a key role in supporting the delivery of major upgrades to the core network infrastructure and cloud transformation and provide your input into long-term strategy in this area. Your key responsibilities as IT Engineer will include providing 2nd and 3rd line support to internal and external users and managing the helpdesk system – allocating jobs to technicians. Installing, configuring and maintaining IT equipment, maintaining the network including Wi-Fi and configuring switches, managing user access including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and Azure, firewall management (CISCO and HP) and server configurations (Windows 2012 R2 and 2016). The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and in addition to the above will have experience with Office 365, SharePoint, virtual environment (VMWare and Hyper-V), printer solutions (Papercut MF), anti-virus solutions including Sophos, VOIP telephone systems and CCTV and access control systems. The salary on offer is up to £36,000 per annum plus benefits package
