Job Title : Kitchen Manager
Location : Greater London, Oxford Circus, England
Job Type : Permanent, Full-Time
Salary : £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Job Description:
The Kitchen Manager will oversee all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring high-quality dishes are served. This role requires leading and managing kitchen staff, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The Kitchen Manager will also collaborate with suppliers to ensure the kitchen runs efficiently. This is a great opportunity for a Sous Chef looking to step into a management role. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily kitchen operations Lead and manage kitchen staff Plan menus and ensure food quality Maintain inventory and stock levels Ensure compliance with health and safety standards Collaborate with suppliers for quality ingredients and equipment Monitor kitchen efficiency and performance Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations Ability to perform well under pressure Education:
Degree or certification in Culinary Arts and/or Hospitality Experience:
Experience in branded chain restaurants, cafés, bistros, or coffee shops Knowledge and Skills:
Expertise in menu planning and food preparation Strong understanding of COGS for multi-unit restaurants Proficiency in managing kitchen operations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Solid time management and prioritization abilities Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications in food safety and hygiene Experience in high-volume kitchens Experience working abroad, ideally in Europe (not essential) Strong command of spoken and written English Working Conditions:
The Kitchen Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring long periods of standing and occasional heavy lifting. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings is required.
