utures is looking to appoint a Mechanical Fitter for our West Yorkshire based manufacturing client.
You will be responsible for the in-house fitting, assembly and test work and will take a lead on site installing and servicing equipment as and when needed. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus scheme and every other Friday off (an additional 24 days holiday per year).
Fitter / Electrical Fitter / Mechanical Fitter / Electrical Distribution /
Ensure that all equipment is assembled and tested to the highest standard
Travel to third party sites both in the UK and abroad to build up the equipment and test, sometimes including anti-social hours
In-house fitting and assembly of various types of distribution and power transformers and electrical equipment.

Competent user of general workshop machinery and hand tools
Read and understand mechanical and schematic drawings
Hands on experience of working within a mechanical/electrical engineering environment is essential
Apprentice trained with appropriate engineering qualification
