Electrician

Boden Fire and Security, provides a specialist supply, installation and facilities maintenance service to Ministry of Defence sites and a range of other customers across the South West and South East. We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our mobile team in the South West. We offer: * 33 days of Holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays. * Option to Buy/Sell up to 5 days holiday per year. * Employee rewards platform with discounts on shopping, leisure activities and utilities. * Employee assistance program offering free counselling sessions. * Employee Wellbeing portal * Cycle to Work scheme * Company sick pay Main Duties of the role: * Service maintenance and installation of Fire, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control systems * Completion of daily work sheets and test certificates * Keep clear and concise written records for use by others * Provide information to supervisors and managers to facilitate solutions to problems * To ensure that all works are carried out in line with Boden and Client standards, policies and procedures and expectations * Ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times * Work out of hours as part of an on-call rota * Electrical repairs and servicing tasks * Fault finding to resolve reactive Electrical issues in a timely and professional manner Required Qualifications: Essential: * A recognised apprenticeship with relevant experience as a fully qualified electrician and/or an appropriate City and Guilds/NVQ in an Electrical discipline * City and Guilds IEE 18th Edition Regulations * Up to date knowledge of latest legislation * Recognised experience within the Fire and Security sector * Full valid UK Driving Licence * The ability to gain and maintain security clearance Additional Info: You will be provided with a Company van and a Tablet for work purposes.
